“It all started with the guitar,” torrayot explains. “I ordered a Les Paul-style guitar from Thailand, and that really sparked a new direction for my music. The heaviness of the guitar matched the aggression I wanted to convey. I love mixing different pedal sounds together to create something that feels both unique and powerful. It’s a true expression of my artistic vision.”

One of the standout tracks on the album, “A Hundredth Corpse,” showcases torrayot’s experimentation with post-hardcore influences. The track features complex rhythms, screamed vocals, and a distorted guitar effect that creates a wall of sound, capturing the intensity of his emotional state. Inspired by his experiences attending prayers at the mosque every Friday, torrayot blends personal spirituality with his musical expression, creating a deep sense of contentment and catharsis.
“A Hundredth Corpse is inspired by a story I heard during a Khutbah, which left me feeling content,” torrayot explains. “I wanted to capture that same feeling in my music and create a sense of peace through it. At the same time, it’s a reflection of my experiences and my desire to convey something meaningful through my art.”
