CIX Captivates Chicago with Impressive Stages & Talents
CIX, the multitalented five-member K-Pop group, ignited the evening of May 22 for their return to Chicago presenting their third world tour <0 or 1>. Debuting in 2019, the five-year-old boy group opened the show with high-energy performances of “Move My Body” and “Change Me” off their third EP HELLO Chapter 3. Gazing at the cheerful fans at the Copernicus Center, the members remarked how happy they were that everyone in the crowd was standing regardless of having seats, so they wanted to do their best in return despite their difficult choreography. The venue was overflowing with energetic fans buzzing with anticipation.

Marking the fourth and first sold-out stop of their For You tour, the Peach Tree Rascals were ready to leave a memorable show at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California. Rising to fame with their song “Mariposa” in 2019, the music collective, Peach Tree Rascals, has become renowned for their genre-blending style. MAMAMOO's Whee In Gives Houston Fans Butterflies
713 Music Hall was filled with butterflies as fans eagerly waited for Whee In to take the stage. Whee In, who debuted in 2014 as a member of K-Pop girl group MAMAMOO, stopped in Houston for the second of two Texas shows on her Whee In The Mood 1st World Tour. ENHYPEN is the first boy band created by the South Korean label BELIFT LAB and consists of members Jungwon, Heesung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and NI-KI. According to BELIFT, “The name ENHYPEN is inspired by the ‘hyphen(-)’ that connects one word to another. ENHYPEN means that seven different boys connect to discover one another and grow together.”
SiM’s Electrifying Feat on ‘PLAYDEAD’ Tour in Denver
On April 29, Japanese alternative metal band SiM (Silence iz Mine) took to the Summit stage in Denver, CO as part of their PLAYDEAD World Tour to promote their newest album PLAYDEAD. While SiM is described as a Japanese-reggae-punk-rock band and is known for their metal songs such as “Devil in Your Heart,” “SiCK,” and “EXiSTENCE,” they have also gained a following due to their collaboration with the famous anime, ‘Attack on Titan’. Having their song “The Rumbling” featured as the anime’s final season’s opening theme song and “Under the Tree” as the season’s ending theme song SiM has gained an additional fan demographic. Anime fans and metal fans alike flocked to see SiM for their first time headlining a North American tour.
Christian Kuria Plays a Sold-Out Show in Houston
Taped to White Oak Music Hall’s box office window was a sheet of paper that read “Christian Kuria. Sold Out,” and once the show started, it was easy to see why. The California-based R&B singer stopped in Houston for one of the many sold out dates on his first US tour. Fans couldn’t be more excited to welcome him to the city, lining up for hours outside the venue and packing up tightly in front of the stage once doors opened.
