Coyote Eyes Sings About Resilience and Determination in "Fires Burning in the Sky"

Since time immemorial, music has been a source to draw strength from and to provide support in trying times. Oftentimes, we hear people find their solutions and solace within a song. If you have been looking for an anthem to give strength and courage, then Coyote Eyes' new track "Fires Burning in the Sky" might just be the one for you.

The track speaks about resiliency through tough times, overcoming obstacles, and proving the naysayers wrong as it employs a sonically entrancing chorus alliterated with powerful lyrics. The lyrics were co-written by the artist herself and Grammy-winning producer Danny Johnson, who has worked with John Legend. The narration, while grounded in reality, is uplifting and encouraging to the ears.

Speaking more about her latest track, Coyote Eyes explains,

"This is a triumph song for everyone who's been told their dreams were unrealistic, that they weren't good enough, or that they'd never make it. It's a reminder that we can emerge victorious against all odds."

The short visualiser of the track shows the singer dressed in a wedding gown while being stuck inside a plastic wrap. This wrap is a symbolic cage — a cage meant to symbolize all things toxic and negative and those that bring harm to one's peace of mind.

Being just over a minute long, the visualizer comes from the vision of director Dayne Malan, who has been noted for his creatives. It artfully captures the essence of the track. The two when paired together present a captivating picture that urges the listener to get up and get ahead, come what may.

While the singer's previous music track "Gasoline" draws inspiration from Hamlet’s Ophelia, the visualiser for "Fires Burning in the Sky" draws inspiration from a bride from Patrick Bateman’s story. Coyote Eyes has been instrumental in a dual approach with her music, addressing issues and giving strength to her listeners.
